About the Role


We are looking for an AI Automation Engineer who thinks in workflows, not tasks.
Your job is to identify inefficiencies across the organization and design automation-first solutions using n8n, APIs, and AI models.
This is a hands-on, impact-driven role where your work directly reduces manual effort, errors, and turnaround time across teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Workflow Automation

Design and implement end-to-end automations using n8n
Automate workflows across:
CRM (HubSpot / Zoho / Salesforce)
Project management (Zoho Projects, ClickUp, Jira)
Finance & operations (invoicing, approvals, reporting)
Support and internal request handling
Build reusable, modular workflows (not one-off hacks)

2. AI Workflow Design

Integrate LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) into workflows
Use AI for:
Classification, summarization, and routing
Data enrichment
Internal content generation
Decision assistance (not blind automation)
Implement human-in-the-loop checkpoints wherever required

3. Process Optimization

Map existing processes and identify:
Bottlenecks
Manual repetition
Error-prone steps
Propose and implement automation-first redesigns
Work closely with ops, sales, delivery, and leadership teams

4. Integrations & APIs

Work confidently with:
REST APIs
Webhooks
OAuth / API keys
Integrate SaaS tools, internal systems, and databases

5. Reliability & Governance

Implement:
Error handling & retries
Logging and monitoring
Workflow versioning
Ensure automations are secure, auditable, and scalable

Required Skills

Must-Have

Strong hands-on experience with n8n
Solid understanding of business processes
Experience integrating LLMs into production workflows
API-first mindset (REST, webhooks, JSON)
Ability to explain technical workflows to non-technical teams

Good to Have

Experience with:
Zoho, HubSpot, Slack, Notion
Databases (Postgres, Supabase, Airtable)
Basic scripting knowledge (JavaScript / Python)
Experience building internal tools or ops automation
Familiarity with prompt engineering and AI limitations
