Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer who can independently manage infrastructure, deployments, cloud environments, and client communications. The ideal candidate should be technically strong while also being confident in handling client discussions, understanding requirements, providing updates, and coordinating effectively with internal teams.
This role requires someone who can take ownership of DevOps operations while maintaining clear and professional communication with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure and servers
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
- Monitor system performance, uptime, and security
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes
- Coordinate directly with clients for technical discussions and updates
- Understand project requirements and suggest infrastructure solutions
- Collaborate with development teams for release management
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment-related issues
- Maintain backup, recovery, and disaster management processes
- Ensure system scalability, reliability, and performance optimization
- Implement and maintain DevOps best practices
Required Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle client calls and technical discussions independently
- Experience with Linux server administration
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization
- Familiarity with Kubernetes is an advantage
- Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
- Understanding of networking, security, and monitoring tools
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Scripting knowledge in Bash, Python, or similar languages
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Relevant DevOps or Cloud certifications are a plus
- Prior experience working with international clients preferred
